Knee Deep Brewing Company, a renowned and innovative craft brewery, is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Chain Accounts Manager. This individual will play a crucial role in managing key accounts and driving the success of our brand both locally and nationwide. Primary Responsibilities:
- Key Account Management: Oversee and nurture relationships with national chain accounts to ensure alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction. Frequent visits to accounts to build relationships both locally and remotely.
- New Item Meetings: Organize and host meetings with buyers and distributors to present new products, ensuring clear communication and successful product launches.
- Presentation Development: Assemble and deliver compelling PowerPoint decks to effectively present mandated items and strategies to stakeholders.
- Distribution Expansion: Gain and secure mandated points of distribution (POD) by collaborating with distributor partners. Staying in frequent contact with distributors and their teams. Working together with distributors to maintain placements, merchandise as needed, and gain new placements by various marketing strategies.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with distributor partners to manage orders, monitor inventory levels, and ensure the execution of mandated POD.
- Performance Reporting: Run and analyze initial delivery and 60-day non-buy reports to identify and address gaps in distribution and sales performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Organized and Articulate: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
- Customer Service Oriented: Provide exceptional customer service to key accounts and distributor partners.
- Self-Motivated: Exhibit a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Communication Skills: Skilled in communicating and aligning strategy with distributor partners and key accounts.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with VIP Software: Familiarity with VIP software, including iDIG, SRS, and Karma, is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the beverage or brewing industry.
- Strong knowledge of beer and beer styles.
- Knowledge of California ABC laws.
- A proven track record of successfully managing national chain accounts.
