We are seeking office administration support to join our team for daily operations of our busy publishing group. This position works directly with the Publisher and Office Manager to accomplish company goals.
Messenger Publishing Group is now the largest newspaper publisher in the Sacramento Region and we are looking for great talent to help us with our expanding company.
Excellent customer service is expected. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, standard business operating systems, and general office machine functions required. Knowledge of social media practices a real plus. Previous administrative/office experience of at least two years is required. You must be a committed team member.
Work schedule would be during regular business hours Monday-Friday. Weekly work schedule would be 35-40 hours plus per week. This position does not work on Saturdays or Sundays. Punctuality is required. This IS NOT a remote work position. You must appear for work at our office in Carmichael.
All applicants must have reliable personal transportation. Some short company errands may be required. You must be able to lift and carry filing boxes without assistance. You must have a valid California driver's license, current auto insurance and a good DMV report. You must be able to provide five business and/or personal references.
