Qualifications/Skills:
Must be 18 years old or older
Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet varied deadlines
Strong communication skills
Provide a high level of quality assurance
Must be able to keep an organized and clean workspace
Flexible and willing to be cross-trained in different areas of production as needed
Requirements:
Preferred experience with sorting mail to USPS standards
Preferred experience with inkjets, inserters, tabbers and meters
Thorough knowledge of the set-up, operating requirements, procedures, capabilities and limitations of one or more Mail machines
Ability to read and interpret written work orders and job specifications
Adept in using the full range of standard and specialized tools available to adjust and maintain the operation conditions and functional accuracy of the Mail equipment
Proficient in performing regular scheduled maintenance checks on all equipment
Vital attention to detail and safety
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be available to work overtime and/or weekends during peak periods
Will be required to stand while performing repetitious work for long periods of time
This position is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt position. Hourly rate is $18-$27/hour commensurate with experience.
