Law Firm Receptionist [Must be fluent in Spanish]

California, Sacramento
Aplica ya

Fraley & Fraley is a bankruptcy law firm representing individuals, couples, and businesses in financial trouble. We have been in the bankruptcy field since 1978 and have a reputation for high-quality legal services. Mr. Gary Ray Fraley, Esq., is the founder and still owns the law firm. We are looking for a long-term employee, not someone who is just looking for a temporary job.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e., organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support).

Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls

Distribute mail

Act as the first point of contact for visitors

Organize and Input information into files

Anything that the owner would do, which is everything

Maintain the office calendar and schedules

Qualifications

MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH & ENGLISH

High school diploma or higher

Ability to maintain a positive attitude (be enthusiastic & friendly)

Excellent communication skills

Excellent grammar and math skills

Ability to handle multiple lines (1-6, though typically 1-3) simultaneously.

Be familiar with and know how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Must have heart, i.e., care about people and their wellbeing

A desire to learn and become even more skilled than you are now.

The ability to help people understand that it is in their best interest to see us so we can help them solve their financial problems (marketing skills)

Be a team player and work together with others, regardless of their position, from owner to janitor. Everyone is entitled to respect.

Have a good sense of humor.

Prior receptionist experience is helpful.

If you need a "stuffed-shirt, 3-piece Suit" environment, this is not the place for you. If you would like immediate responsibilities, client contact, and where your ideas are appreciated, this is the place for you.

We are family-friendly (family comes first, then the job).

We believe in education and will, as best we can, work to accommodate your ability to take classes. We may even pay for some classes.

We have a multi-racial office. We respect everyone's religious, social, lifestyle, and political views, but they should not be pushed on others.

We accommodate people with disabilities so long as it does not interfere with the ability to do the job.

We work for common goals that benefit our staff and clients. We are not hiring you for just your receptionist position. We are hiring for your mind. If you think something can be done differently to help the office, Mr. Fraley always appreciates the ideas. Whether they work or not is not as important as the fact that we want the input. Great ideas can come from anywhere, not just the "boss."

We provide:

Paid vacation

More sick leave than is required by law

Additional days off beyond typical holidays

Health Insurance with some eye and dental benefits
