Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Paralegal with a strong background in Family Law to join our dynamic team. Our company focuses in family law, civil litigation, estate planning, juvenile dependency, and criminal law. The ideal candidate will have primary experience in Family Law and the capability to handle complex legal projects independently.
Responsibilities:
Conducting legal research and analysis on various family law matters
Drafting statements of issues, trial briefs, and other legal documents
Organizing trial binders and preparing exhibits for court hearings
Assisting with project management and coordination of legal cases
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Paralegal with a focus on Family Law
Familiarity with civil litigation, estate planning, juvenile dependency, and criminal law (great! But not required)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with Clio, Mycase, Lawyaw, LexisNexis
Ability to work independently on complex legal projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal research and document drafting
