Landscape Foreman Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable landscape foreman to lead our landscaping team. The Landscape Foreman responsibilities include overseeing landscaping projects, from design to implementation, coordinating and managing the team, ensuring that safety regulations are adhered to, and liaising with clients and suppliers.
Our ideal candidates are experienced in landscaping and have strong leadership skills. Ultimately, the role of the landscape foreman is to ensure that our projects are completed on time and to the satisfaction of our clients, ensuring adherence to high-quality landscaping standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of landscaping projects from conception to completion
2. Manage, supervise and train landscaping crew
3. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
4. Coordinate with clients, suppliers and personnel
5. Order materials and equipment as needed
6. Ensure job site cleanliness and perform equipment maintenance
7. Resolve problems or issues quickly and efficiently
8. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
9. Monitor and maintain inventory of tools and equipment
10. Ensure quality in all work performed
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a landscape foreman or similar role
2. Knowledge of landscape construction, irrigation systems and hardscapes
3. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and diagrams
4. Strong leadership and team management skills
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
6. Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks
7. Driver’s license and reliable transportation
8. Must be Bilingual
Additional Information
Job Title: Landscape Foreman
Work Environment: Outdoor field work, with regular exposure to various weather conditions. Some paperwork and client consultations may be conducted indoors. Physical tasks are a regular part of the job.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Landscape Manager.
Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Pay Range: $48,000 minimum to 57,600 maximum
