Provide live in care for elderly couple in El Dorado Hills CA. A private bedroom, food, utilities, and gas money are provided as well as cash salary of 1500- 2500.00 monthly depending on experience. Great position for a student or retiree with some RN healthcare elder care dementia experience.
Must assist with light general housekeeping, daily simplemeal prep and serving, some errands and shopping, some driving, some help with facetiming relatives.
Must have a car and insurance.
One person has dementia and will require patience and redirection and assistance of and on for approximately 8 hours daily M- F. She is mobile and can feed herself and use the toilet on her own. She needs reminders on morning and evening routine. Needs you to change programs on the tv, turn on stereo, go on 20 min walks with her 1-2x daily. Do baking projects occasionally. Assist her with her knitting projects. Take her out of the house for a coffee and drive every day for an hour.
The second person requires some assistance getting in and out of bed, but otherwise requires very little.
Both people require you to give them 2x daily medications for blood pressure and things.
Off Sat and Sunday from 8 am to 7:00pm.
