job summary:We have a 3 month contract opportunity for a Clinical Applications Analyst in the the greater Sacramento area. This position will be hybrid remote/onsite and the onsite locations include Sacramento and Modesto hospital facilities.
Job Description: Implements, supports, and may lead integrated solutions for application related technical and business issues. Provides expert application and technical support for the product line in addition to providing more complex triage and troubleshooting assistance to the product customers.Engages in problem management identification, classification, and resolution activities within the applications. Provides standardization direction for the product aligning the application version and workflow with current standards. Applications Supports diverse and cross platform systems environments supporting critical business and clinical applications. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: specification, configuration, implementation and upgrade of systems hardware, clusters and ancillary systems .May lead or assist with cross functional collaboration and coordination of issues, upgrades and implementations. Provides standardization direction for the product aligning with current technologies. May also: -Coordinate and perform the installation activities of systems and application packages with vendors. -Monitor application performance, system jobs, storage and file size and make adjustments as needed. -Provide complex detailed specifications, and data mapping. -Provide complex technical analysis and evaluation of complex and varied changes to existing interfaces. -Work with Service Desk to maintain Knowledgebase on technical components of application (May work with application analyst to do complete end to end documentation) -Implement security and control procedures including but not limited to backup and recovery. -Train/practice troubleshooting and test procedures for effective application, server and network problems. -Remain technically current of new technologies through reading, seminars, workshops and vendor information. -Recommend and implement technical solutions understanding and adhering to company standards. -Recommend and implement architectural set up ensuring optimization of hardware and software (day end processing times, etc) and future growth needs. -Lead researching, outlining, and writing documentation that are technically accurate and which conform to established department methodology. -Obtain all appropriate signatures and approvals for configuration for support of functional testing, and change management. -Develop workflow process and procedures for technical teams.Required Skills: Broad knowledge of multiple and integrated systems - Required Experience in healthcare applications - Required Knowledge of application environments including production, test and interfaces - Highly desired Knowledge of healthcare operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, & use of information system apps - Desired Software implementation experience using diversified production lines of information systems - Highly desired Understanding of hospital inpatient, clinic outpatient operations, &financial software along w/ understanding the tech environment product lines - Required Work closely with healthcare application users, and technical professionals - RequiredEducation: AA/AS Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience - Required BA/BS Degree - Desired location: Sacramento, Californiajob type: Contractsalary: $70 - 75 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: No Degree Required responsibilities:Implements, supports, and may lead integrated solutions for application related technical and business issues.
