Part-Time Operations Manager for Mini Storage Facility

We seek a reliable, customer-focused Part-Time Site Manager for our Mini Storage facility. This position offers 16-24 hours per week, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to be part of a dynamic team while managing the day-to-day operations of a busy facility. As the Site Manager, you will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring excellent customer service and the facility's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Greet and assist customers with their storage needs, including showing available units, move-ins, move-outs and unit transfers.

Manage collection of rent, and associated data entry.

Ensure storage facility security is maintained during shift.

Ensure the facility is clean, well-maintained, and safe for customers and employees.

Assist with lien processes when necessary, including preparing and mailing notices.

Maintain and rent clean and ready units to customers.

Optimize the performance of the facility by meeting revenue goals and improving customer satisfaction.

Provide outstanding customer service and resolve any customer concerns or issues.

Perform regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance or safety concerns.

Qualifications:

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.

Various tasks that require mobility around the property are required; in addition to physical demands, such as lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and opening large doors. Working outdoors is required, including during inclement weather.

Prior experience in management or customer service preferred.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks; work independently, balancing time between office tasks and outdoor property management.

Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

Comfortable with basic computer software and administrative tasks.

Maintains professional and ethical conduct.

Prompt communicator.

Problem Solver willing to handle problems in a timely manner.

Small amounts of short-distance travel required; mileage reimbursement for work-related tasks.

Background check required.

Hours:

16-24 hours per week, with some flexible scheduling. (Business hours may change throughout the year.)
