Description Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently partnering with an established company that is looking to add a financial strategic partner to team. This role will primarily revolve around maintaining relationships, providing advisory, and supporting various entities within the construction industry. Your key function will be to ensure efficient resource employment and facilitate an effective flow of accurate and timely information. The ideal candidate will have experience within the construction or similar industry. The position will work a hybrid schedule, and the office is based in Roseville. For more information on this position, please call Lisa Cole at 916-649-0832. Responsibilities: Prepare financial reports in a timely manner. Provide analytical support to division management and leadership teams. Optimize and align the use of key software systems with business goals. Coordinate efforts between operations and corporate support departments. Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency. Act as a liaison with corporate functions on financial and compliance matters. Oversee and support financial aspects including consolidation of financial reports, financial analysis, and other related financial reporting requirements. Advise and guide leadership teams for the strategic development and implementation of process improvement initiatives. Review and monitor processes/controls, advising on strengthening or modifying procedures where necessary. Coordinate with project management teams, field leaders, and estimators to understand and support specific project/job financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle. Provide interpretation of budget analysis, job financial health, and financial drivers to division leadership.Requirements Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Management, Construction Management (or related field). MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ practical work experience in financial planning & analysis
Experience in preparing budgets and variance analysis
Progressive experience in business related functions in the heavy-civil construction and/or construction materials industry preferred.
