Description We are seeking a Tax Staff - Public to join our team in the CPA Firm sector, located in Riverside, California, United States. The selected individual will be responsible for tasks such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, resolving customer inquiries, and monitoring customer accounts. This role presents an exciting opportunity in the field of public accounting.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately Regularly maintain and update customer credit records Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed Perform auditing and accounting functions with minimal supervision Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines Utilize computer technology and correctly apply accounting software systems, including CCH IntelliConnect and Lacerte Tax Software Conduct research on specific engagements promptly, in an organized and accurate manner Prepare financial statements, corporate tax returns, and federal income tax returns under supervision Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Assist with entity formation and estate and trust engagements as experience increases Take on increasing responsibility for engagements and correspondence Begin to develop client relations, keeping in mind the need to bill additional services and attract new business to the firm Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public CPA firm Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with CCH IntelliConnect Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions Experience in Auditing Ability to ensure Compliance with relevant regulations Experience in Entity Formation Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements Experience in preparing Corporate Tax Returns Experience in preparing Federal Tax Returns Knowledge of Federal Income Tax Return procedures Proficiency in Federal Income Tax laws and regulations Experience in using Lacerte Tax Software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
