EA was founded 30 years ago by individuals with a deep passion for making games. Many things have changed over the years as the gaming industry—and the company—has expanded immensely, but we are still driven by the same passion for developing, publishing, and distributing the world’s best games. Our history has been one of great success, and our future looks even brighter. Gaming has come a long way from Pac-Man & Space Invaders to modern EA Favorites like Apex Legends, Battlefield, Mass Effect, Real Racing, Plants vs. Zombies, FIFA, Madden, Need for Speed and the world’s most successful game franchise, The Sims. Fueled by our accomplished staff at locations across the Globe we are united in our passion to continue shaping the future of interactive entertainment. Together we can make a difference.

You should have an exceptional understanding of what it takes to manage competitive ecosystems, be familiar with league operations and tournament/event logistics, have an affinity for what players expect from both gaming and viewership experiences, and excel in a team environment where fun is culture.

Develop Strategic Plans: Implement plans with the aim to create new fans of competitive titles, inspire existing players to engage more deeply, find new ways for viewers to interact with our content, and uncover EA’s next major competitive gaming opportunity.

Coordinate: Run meetings to assess progress and identify risks. Work with partners to maximize opportunities and overcome challenges. Influence and inspire multiple internal & external teams to rally towards a common goal.

Program Management: Manage workflows and guide momentum across multiple projects using collaborative tools (i.e. Wrike) for process tracking, status updates, and completion deadlines.

Competitive Gaming - Functional Expert: Represent CGX to Global Brand Management, Electronic Arts Partners, CG Commercial, and Campaign Management teams as the standing expert in ecosystem and creative experience design.

Evolve Process and Workflows: Find opportunities to improve how we work, build a case for change, proceed to generate buy-in, and support the implementation.

Event / Competition Liaison: Consult and track the process of competitive event experiences for players, spectators, viewers, and more by serving as a strategic lead between our studio and broadcast partners.

Industry Research: Remain current on industry trends and investigate examples of success for integrity and potential best practices that, if adopted, can positively improve our existing & future programs.

Drive Retrospectives: Gather feedback and curate insights to improve future execution on existing programs and drive innovation for newly created programs.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Ability to articulate complex program designs in an understandable manner for partners.

Reputation for being a collaborative expert and dedicated facilitator, with the ability to organize and motivate work across multiple team boundaries.
