River Management – Anderson, CA
Full-time or Part-time (must include Monday morning)
Summary
Performs tasks to repair and/or maintenance of buildings; mobilehomes; landscaping; Swimming pool operation; Tree trimming; Weed spraying; Pick-up trash and recyclables; Use Park owned equipment; Roads; Water well and system; Electrical meters and system, Natural gas meters and pipeline; and Sewer systems. Operates vehicles up to 26,000 GVW with C and up to 80,000 GVW with A upgrade paid by Park.
Physical Demands:
Works from ladders, in trenches, with power equipment. Some work will require you to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Works out doors in Redding’s hot temperatures and in winter rain. Frequently lifts or carries parts and equipment that weigh up to 60 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed inside and outside where dirt, spray, and fumes are present. Also required to work in inclement weather and/or wear protective equipment and clothing that are sometimes uncomfortable.
Travel Required:
Will use Company owned vehicles to travel from Anderson base location to Cottowood and Palo Cedro proprieties. Also travel from Redding to Red Bluff to pick up parts.
Conditions of Employment:
Appointment subject to background investigation.
You will be required to operate a Park Owned motor vehicle as part of your official duties. Because you will operate a class A motor vehicle you will be required to submit a photocopy of your valid State issued driver's license You will be required to submit all certified driving records from all States that discloses all your valid driver's licenses, whether current or past. Please indicate in your application whether you possess a valid State driver's license.
You will be required to wear protective safety equipment provided by the Park.
Applicants must be at least 18 years.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in two of the following job-related activities;
- Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision.
- Knowledge of Equipment operation or repair of equipment.
- Knowledge of water well, natural gas, electric, welding, sewer, mobilehome repair, or tree trimming.
Ability to interpret instructions and equipment manuals and implement operation.
Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment.
Knowledge of Materials, equipment, and operations used to perform duties.
Ability to follow Federal and State regulations that govern Park.
Background checks and Drug test
Required Documents:
When the employee operators a “C” motor vehicle or “A” Truck they must have an appropriate valid State's Drivers License.
