We are a fast-paced, patient-focused urgent care clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care with compassion and efficiency. We serve patients of all ages with a variety of non-emergent health concerns. We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team. We offer walk-in healthcare services for urgent care, employer services, and new work related injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough history and physical exams for walk-in patients
Diagnose and treat common acute conditions (e.g., respiratory infections, minor injuries, rashes, UTI, etc.)
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
Perform minor procedures (e.g., laceration repair, splinting, abscess drainage)
Prescribe appropriate medications and educate patients on treatment plans
Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff
Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted PA or NP license in California.
National board certification (NCCPA for PAs, AANP or ANCC for NPs)
Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum [1–2] years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse patient population
