Description We are in search of an experienced Senior Accountant to handle the financial needs of our client in the manufacturing industry. This entails overseeing general accounting operations, reviewing financial data and preparing financial reports.Main responsibilities:
Preparing financial statements and perform account analyses.
Overseeing the preparation of payroll entries, bank reconciliation, and financial reports.
Managing the company’s tax compliance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices and identify issues.
Guiding junior accountants and other staff by answering questions and coordinating informational sessions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or similar certification is preferred.
At least 5 years of general or tax accounting experience.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills with strong focus on accuracy and detail.
