Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Manager

Description We are in need of a Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Rancho Santa Fe, California. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, playing a crucial role in our non-profit organization. You will be instrumental in supporting our HR operations and enhancing our organizational culture. Responsibilities: Guide management and staff on labor law inquiries Assist in the execution of HR projects and initiatives as required Work closely with the CEO and VP of Operations and Finance to ensure HR strategies align with organizational goals Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within a team of HR employees Collaborate with department managers across various departments to ensure effective HR practices and policies are implemented Serve as a point of contact for HR matters, providing support and oversight as necessary Utilize HR management software for HR functions and reporting Support the recruitment and hiring processes Handle employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws Oversee benefits functions within the organization.Requirements Knowledge of benefit functions in a HR setting Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven experience in compliance management Ability to handle employee relations effectively Experience with hiring processes and recruitment Deep understanding of California Labor Law, Labor Law, and Federal Labor Law Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making ability Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred Relevant HR certification will be an advantage.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
