Immediate contract to hire opportunity for an experienced software engineer to install, configure and optimize data conversion environment for large project and manage deployment and execution. We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with database expertise. Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and have at least five years of experience in System Configuration, software deployment. Engineer must have good knowledge of writing moderate SQL queries to report status and validate data integrity. Experience with Linux deployments, configuration, testing, and automation. Engineer should have experience working with MS-SQL and MySQL database and a strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks. Analyzes and understands the data conversion requirements and timelines for a project. Installs, configures and optimizes the data conversion environments. Qualified candidate will have expertise in T-SQL, SQL queries and linux scripting.
