Join our team of professionals in delivering strategic and tactical guidance to senior leadership in support of pursuit development efforts.Recruiting for this role ends on October 31, 2024Work you'll doThe Deloitte Government and Public Services (GPS) Sales Excellence team seeks an experienced Volume Lead with deep experience developing detailed content related to Federal proposal volumes (e.g., Management, Transition, etc.) This position works directly with the Capture Executive, Deal Architect, and Technical Volume Lead to develop required proposal content. The Volume Lead should have a proven track record of successful on $100M+ bids.

Lead and collaborate with the proposal development team:

Act in a strategic role, from pre-RFP to oral presentation stages to enhance the likelihood of a win based on requirements and client knowledge

Brainstorm solutions with the proposal teams to provide experience-based advice with the ability to drive strategy and solutions that result in winning submissions

Coordinate with the account team and other teammates to tackle assignments in the most effective and efficient way possible; communicate with teammates in real time to ensure a consistent, streamlined document

Demonstrate the capacity to bring creativity and original thinking to the framing and structuring of a compliant and compelling proposal content, by incorporating the answers to the client's true objectives of their RFP/RFI

Provide the ability to handle multiple, concurrent projects; adjust to shifting priorities, stringent deadlines, last minute requirements, and frequent evening/weekend hours to accomplish tasks within non-negotiable client deadlines

QualificationsRequired

6+ years work experience

Experience with any of the following: proposal development, solutions development, and/or technical writing

Bachelors' degree in business related field

Experience developing proposal content that contribute to major Federal contracts

Succinctly summarize data and support preparation of executive level briefings

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Knowledge and understanding of Federal / State procurement regulations and practices (including FAR and DFAR)

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Proactive and detail-oriented

A team player with an outstanding ability to work with people at all levels, including senior executives.

Strong interpersonal skills, including aptitude for building relationships, understanding team dynamics, taking initiative, and solving problems

Keen listener, with the ability to quickly grasp ideas to be reflected in written documents and presentations

Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills

Ability to analyze information and make sound observations and recommendations quickly

Current Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional certification.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case $84,300 - $173,300
