Position: Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour (increased to $24–$28 once hired on permanently)
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls professionally and courteously.
Screen calls, assess client needs, and direct them to the appropriate department or resource.
Process premium payments accurately and efficiently.
Provide empathetic and supportive communication, particularly when assisting clients with claims.
Navigate sensitive situations with patience, understanding, and professionalism.
Assist clients in understanding policy coverage, processes, and next steps.
Maintain accurate and organized records in the company’s database.
Participate in ongoing training and coaching to enhance skills and performance.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
High level of empathy and understanding for client situations.
Proficiency with computers, data entry, and navigating multiple systems.
Willingness to learn, be coached, and adapt to changing processes.
Current Property and Casualty License OR candidate must obtain a Property and Casualty Insurance License within 30 days of hire (out of pocket cost for the employee)
