Title: Construction Security Officer- Unarmed
Pay: $18.00 per hour.
Hours: Part-time, 4 pm-11:30 pm or 11:30 pm-7 am., 4 days per week (Sporadic Sunday thru Saturday),
Start: ASAP
Work Duties:
Site Monitoring – Monitor the construction site and ensure that no persons enter the construction zone.
Observe property lines- You must conduct visual inspections of the construction site and equipment and be highly visible to the public eye.
During your patrols you must observe for any signs of smoke and fires. If you observe any fire you must immediately contact the local authorities - the Police Department, and/or the Fire Department for help.
You must notify your supervisors of incidents on the property such as theft, fires, injuries, etc.
Employee Safety- When conducting foot patrols, you must wear all your assigned protective gear and patrol only in areas that are safe. Your safety matters to us. Do not walk over trenches, potholes, or wet grounds.
If you observe any trespassers, you must notify them to leave. If they disobey immediately contact the local police authorities for help, and to report the trespassers. Do NOT argue or engage in any confrontational situations.
You must report your patrols on an electronic patrol system using the TrackTik telephone app.
Report a routine check-up by telephone every hour on the TrackTik telephone app.
You must be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times.
You must be willing to wear a company-assigned uniform.
This job entails prolonged walking, standing, and working in inclined weather conditions.
Requirements:
Must be 24 years of age or older.
Must be legal to work in the U.S.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or higher.
Pass a criminal background check.
Pass a drug test.
Have a current Guard Card license.
Have completed the 40 hours of security guard training (AB2880) or be able to obtain the training within 60 days of
hire at your own expense.
Able to clock in/off duty using the company telephone application system TracTick. Training will be provided.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule (evenings, holidays, and weekends required).
