Busy design firm hiring an interior design asssitant and Junior Designer
Job Summary
Assist Senior Designer in space planning, printing, pricing, and organizing client presentations.
Product sourcing - furniture, accessories, lighting, window treatments, paint colors
Product pricing
Getting custom fixture and furnishings quotes (sometimes sketches will be required) and contractor bids
Arranging deliveries, installations, and other scheduling
Attend client/contractor meetings to take notes and any necessary photographs and measurements
Tracking placed orders to make sure that all details are accounted for and that product stays on schedule to meet installation dates.
Required Skills: Microsoft Office and AutoCad. Sketchup, Photoshop, hand-rendering are a plus.
Candidate Qualities: resourceful, highly organized, goal-oriented, strong office administration skills, excellent problem solver, strong detail-orientation, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, positive can-do attitude, very professional in written, phone and personal correspondence.
