We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties
Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in a commercial environment.
Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable.
Carry out industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards including sinks and drains.
Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any issues or repairs needed to management.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
Perform porter duties as required, including moving furniture or equipment as needed for events or maintenance activities.
Occasionally assist with receiving raw bagged dry good materials as part of facility upkeep.
Experience
Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be considered an asset.
A strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
