PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Milling Machine Machinist in Palmdale, California.Job Title: Milling Machine MachinistJob Type: Full time; contract (12 months )Schedule: Onsite 3x12 Friday - Sunday 2nd shift 3:00 PM - 1:30 AMLocation: Palmdale, CA 93550Pay Rate: $37.64 per hourThe candidate will work as a Milling Machine Machinist 2 at PDS Tech Commercial Inc., setting up and operating various milling machines to perform complex machining operations including cutting compound angles and contours. They will interpret blueprints and specifications to plan the sequence of operations and ensure precision in their work using specialized tools.Skill RequirementsMust-Have Requirements :
Milling machine operation experience
Ability to perform compound angles and contours
Proficiency in boring, helical milling, spiral milling, serrating, gear cutting, spline cutting, and keyway cutting
Skilled in selecting and aligning various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling
Competency in interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
Preferred Requirements :
Experience with statistical process control procedures for quality verification
Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training
