Job Title: Independent Delivery Driver (Own Cargo Van Required)

Job Type: 1099 Contract (Self-Employed)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Starting at 7:00 AM (End time varies based on route completion)
Job Description: We are seeking dependable, independent delivery drivers with their own cargo vans to join our team! As a 1099 contractor, you will start your day in Santa Fe Springs at 7:00 AM, and finish your route once all deliveries and pick ups are completed. Your routes will include delivering and picking up packages at businesses and residences in the Brea or La Habra area.
Key Responsibilities:
-Pick up and deliver packages to businesses and residences in the Brea or La Habra area and surrounding neighborhoods.
-Ensure timely and safe delivery of all packages.
-Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and customers.
-Handle all packages with care and deliver them in excellent condition.
-Follow traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
-Complete required delivery logs and documentation.
-Keep your cargo van clean and in good working condition.
Qualifications:
-Must own a cargo van (high-roof) in good working condition.
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
-Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 50 lbs).
-Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented.
-Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently.
-Workers' compensation insurance is required. (As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own workers' compensation coverage to ensure your safety while on the job.)
Compensation:
-Pay is per stop and will be discussed during the interview.
-Weekly payments.
-Workers' compensation coverage required for all contractors.
