Went to HVAC trade school for 9 months then have been at my first residential installer/service job for right about 4 years. Has not been easy in many ways. Mainly the money. I am actually going into debt working this job. I started at 16.75 and have gone up to 21/hr barely. There are no words for the kind of work ethic i have. Every day is 110% M-F. Furthermore, I’ve been doing instacart deliveries for about 2.5 years. 2 jobs 7 days a week and then the stuff I gotta do at home. Kid, dogs cleaning etc. usually land about 2.5-4 hours of sleep. Point of this post is that I can’t do instacart anymore because it’s just not reliable anymore, there’s no orders for whatever reason especially later in the evening once I get off. I have to drive around 10-12 hours just to make $200.00 if that: I’ve never been through something that disintegrates me so fast. I can’t stand sitting in the car looking at my phone for orders. Especially if they end up never coming. So what I’m saying is, if you have anything that pays around at least $200 for 10-12 hours more or less. I will be there every damn day no questions. I show up to a job that doesn’t even pay me. How do you think I’ll treat a job that pays me decent? Mind you this is ontop of already working 10-12 hr HVAC shifts. Crawlspaces attics etc. sweating for 10 hours + straight in the summer etc. you’re probably asking why don’t I do HVaC side jobs? Well because it’s a big grey area and for the most part my boss doesn’t want me doing them. So I’m trying to make it work the best I can. I love my job and don’t want to risk it. Thanks. I’m open to anything physical. Worse casenario I’ll take any job over this my part time delivery job. I’m beyond the seriousness of say even a heart attack whatever have you. I’d be down to do certain hvac jobs, just would have to be the less risky ones. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and hope to hear from you soon! For the most part I am not looking to do HVAC work as it interferes with my contract at my day job. Thank you and have a blessed day. (714)507-5633
