Electrical Service Company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Service Manager to oversee and lead our electrical service department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical services, leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. As an Electrical Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing service technicians, coordinating service projects, ensuring safety and compliance, and driving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and manage a team of service technicians to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of electrical services.
Schedule and assign work orders, ensuring technicians are properly equipped and prepared for each job.
Oversee electrical service projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and client specifications.
Manage customer relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement service procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards (e.g., NEC).
Perform regular inspections of electrical systems and services to ensure proper functioning and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor service team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate ongoing training to enhance technical skills and customer service.
Maintain inventory of equipment and materials, ensuring availability for timely service execution.
Develop and manage service budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of electrical services with company goals and customer needs.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, detailing key service metrics, customer feedback, and operational improvements.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Service Electrician.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards (e.g., National Electrical Code, OSHA).
5 years of experience in electrical service work, with hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, installations, and repairs.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and resolve issues effectively.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with service management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Valid electrical license and certifications (e.g., Journeyman, Master Electrician) are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of electrical estimating and quoting processes.
Project management experience in electrical contracting or related fields. Certifications in electrical safety or service management (e.g.OSHA certifications, First Aid/CPR).
