Duties include:
Responsible for Install, servicing, maintaining, and repairing of Residential, commercialair-conditioning equipment.
Includes heating, refrigeration, ice machines, chillers,, VRF systems, Box cars, boilers, troubleshooting controls and wiring, start-up, and commissioning paperwork.
Responsibilities:
Safety is your number one responsibility.
Able to inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and heating equipment.
Able to communicate with customers.
Able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
Make adjustments and calibrations on all type's of control systems such as, DDC, pneumatics, 24 volt.
Inspect and maintain refrigerators, walk-ins, ice machines, air compressors, and chilled water systems.
Inspect and maintain Boiler systems, and pumps.
Improve skill level through classes, and training provided.
Skills:
Use of all hand and power tools connected to the job at hand. Vacuum pumps, recovery machine, torches, scales, etc.
Able to work in places where exposed to dust, fumes, noise, toxic materials and high voltage equipment.
Work in adverse weather and may be required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel or stand for long stretches of time.
Customer service and communication with our clients.
Knowledge:
Must have a certified HVAC schooling program. (Bring copy of school certificate to interview).
Must have EPA certification.
Know the principles of air-conditioning unit repair and maintenance, including controls, MSDS sheets, safety practices and procedures and tools used.
Safety compliancy knowledge. PPE gear provided, fall protection classes will be provided, must have scissor lift boom lift certification. CBMS will provide if needed.
