Garage Door Hero is seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the sales, installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors, door systems, and openers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers in residential and commercial settings.
Perform routine inspections to identify issues with garage door systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems related to garage doors.
Present repair and replacement options to customers.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with quality & safety regulations.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for diagnosing and repairing various systems.
Experience with construction site work is a plus, including skills in welding, drywall installation, carpentry, locksmithing, electrical work, or fixture installation.
Ability to read blueprints is highly desirable for effective installation and repairs.
A commitment to safety practices on the job site is mandatory.
