Non-medical home care agency in Orange Country is in need of a well-rounded, experienced Scheduler.

As our Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of care and service our agency is known for. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the schedules of our caregivers, ensuring that each client receives consistent, compassionate support. You will be involved in interviewing, training, and hiring caregivers, making this a truly dynamic and rewarding position.

Your key responsibility as a Scheduler is Scheduling Caregivers, build and maintain staffing schedules for all clients, ensuring optimal coverage and continuity of care; manage requests for time off, shift changes, and emergencies with efficiency and professionalism. Additionally, as our Scheduler, you will conduct regular client care visits to assess needs, ensure satisfaction, and address any issues that may arise. Serve as a liaison between clients, caregivers, and agency leadership.

Proven Experience: Previous experience in scheduling, preferably within a home care or similar service industry.

Strong Social and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with clients, caregivers, and staff; approachable, empathetic, and respectful.

Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator in person, over the phone, and via email; ability to handle sensitive conversations with discretion.

Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and committed to the needs of the agency and its clients.

Creativity and Problem Solving: Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to scheduling challenges and client needs.

Team Player: Works collaboratively with others and contributes to a positive, supportive work environment.

Reliable Transportation: Having your own transportation is a plus, as the role may require occasional visits to client homes and other locations throughout Orange County.
