Design Assistant/Purchasing - Design-Build Company
In-office role, at our office located in Laguna Hills, CA
We are a very busy, established Design-Build company, looking for someone to join our amazing team.
Must work well with others, be detail oriented and efficient, and have a great attitude!
Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Compensation includes $22 per hour starting pay rate.
Upward mobility; promotions.
Benefits (sick pay, vacation pay, retirement plan).
This position supports the Interior Designer by performing the following:
Attends all client meetings, taking detailed notes and entering them into the online tracker
Coordinates and tracks the details of the Projects from start to finish
Processes and maintains client contracts, change orders, design approvals, etc. via Docusign and Knowify (training is provided)
Populates Project material lists
Requests vendor quotes for materials
Purchases approved design materials
Schedules and tracks material deliveries
Receives and inventories material deliveries
Coordinates delivery of materials to the job sites in time for installation
Prepares project close out documents
Provides office support by performing the following:
Maintains/Updates online company calendar
Answers, documents and follows up on telephone calls and emails
Answers, schedules and documents clients communication
Maintains various paper filing systems
Maintains various electronic filing systems
Maintains clean and orderly office space
Training is provided, but looking for someone who is efficient, detail oriented and reliable.
