We are a warehouse in the city of Irvine looking for an experienced Shipping/Receiving Lead for 1st shift. We offer smarter home storage and organizational solutions, and we’re seeking a detailed-oriented professional who wants to grow with our company.
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hour
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage shipping and receiving operations for B2B/B2C, D2C, national retailers, ecommerce retailers, and ecommerce customers.
Manage outgoing shipments to ensure excellent outbound traffic management, resulting in on-time delivery to the customer under tight delivery windows.
Ensure accuracy in outgoing shipment procedures to avoid chargebacks by adhering to Routing Guidelines, including shipping windows, paperwork, packaging, carton markings, UPC codes, labeling, Advance Shipping Notification, and other routing requirements.
Manage receiving projects, ensuring products from overseas container shipments are received, unloaded, and correctly put away.
Assist in supervising daily activities in the warehouse, with a focus on shipping and receiving operations, to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating a stand-up forklift (a MUST).
Forklift certified (stand-up forklift, cherry-picker; slip sheet forklift—willing to train).
Experience with shipping consumer goods (B2B/B2C, D2C) for national retailers, ecommerce retailers, and ecommerce customers in a warehouse and/or 3PL environment.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in shipping/receiving or logistics roles.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (strong communication skills).
Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to lead a team while remaining hands-on.
Positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
Able to work under regular daily pressures and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
