We are seeking a multi faceted individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate and Apparel Embellishments Specialist.
This role will work closely with the warehouse manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
We are looking for someone with previous experience working with apparel and/or in warehouse operations. We are willing to train the right person.
Experience & Qualifications to highlight on your resume & cover sheet:
- Mechanical Aptitude is a huge PLUS.
- Comfortability working with carpentry, Hand tools, and vehicle maintenance.
- Physical capability to lift boxes (primarily apparel, 50 lbs or less) regularly.
- Forklift proficiency is required, however certification is not necessary.
- Familiarity with screen printing and embroidery processes is advantageous- but can be trained.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel to tradeshows occasionally would be a plus- but not necessary.
- Prior experience in apparel embellishments, (screen-printing, embroiderer) with a focus on heat transfer application - this can be trained as well.
- Proficient in operating embroidery machines and digitizing designs, with a strong eye for detail -can be trained.
- Familiarity with made-to-order apparel processes and customization requirements -can be trained.
- Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with design teams and adapt to changing project needs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Sewing & Embroidery Machine Experience a Plus - but not required
Position Key Responsibilities:
Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory
- Accurate and prompt fulfillment of website orders.
- Receiving shipments, verifying deliveries, and managing inventory.
- Assist in loading/unloading trailers for shows and coordinating apparel deliveries to screen printers.
- Quality Control and Safety Compliance:
- Support quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
- Operate forklift safely and report maintenance requirements promptly.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a secure work environment.
Warehouse Organization and Communication
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Communicate effectively with team members via text, email, and verbal channels.
- Adapt to evolving responsibilities and support team initiatives as needed.
Apparel Embellishments Specialist:
- Apply heat transfers to shirts, hoodies, and hats with precision and accuracy.
- Able to Quality Control as you go
- Collaborate with the design team to execute custom designs and graphics according to client specifications
- Sewing small runs (if applicable)
