Maverick Abrasives is hiring for a full-time machine operator to cut and assemble sanding belts. We are looking for someone who is reliable and works well in a team-oriented assembly line type setting.
Job Responsibilities:
Utilize machinery to cut sheets of sandpaper to length as needed
Assemble sanding belts by hand or using heat press machine as needed
Quality control, including but not limited to measuring cut sheets, joint/tape inspection, and finishing cut edges
Packaging finished product at the end of production day
Job Requirements:
Basic math skills
Attention to detail
Clean and maintain work area
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to work quickly and accurately
Able to accurately use a tape measure
English/Spanish bilingual is a plus!
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Starting pay: $20/hr to start
