Job description
CNC Fabrication Shop hiring experienced CNC Lathe, CNC Swiss and Vertical Mill Operators to join our team for first shift. The ideal candidates for this position will have a strong understanding of CNC operations and be able to operate a variety of CNC machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNCs, reading blueprints and schematics, and performing quality control checks on finished products. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Material handling required, raw material to and from machines, moving parts to designated locations, etc
Perform routine maintenance on the machine.
Monitor the machine's performance and make adjustments as needed. (periodic oil and coolant check, chip handling, etc required.)
Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the machine.
Must keep work areas organized and clean.
Ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
CNC "Operator" positions will use WCM supplied tools and inspection equipment.
Must have basic knowledge of CNC Machine Operation
Basic knowledge of CNC Tooling, ability to do offsets to keep parts in tolerance required.
Must be able to use basic measuring tools to inspect parts
Must have knowledge in metals, plastics, etc and expected to handle raw materials (bar stock) to and from machines.
Strong organizational skills required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour to start. (Evaluated after 90 day probation.)
