CNC Maintenance Technician II - Maintenance & Operations

As a CNC Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

-Performing routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of mechanical components.

-Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions.

-Maintaining department parts and inventory stock for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.

-Adhering to planned maintenance schedules to ensure timely servicing of machinery and equipment, reducing the risk of unexpected downtime.

-Documenting maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks, in accordance with company procedures.

Job Description:

-Completion of high school education or equivalent.

-Minimum of two years' experience in troubleshooting and repairing of CNC mills, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment.

-Familiarity with repairing Wire and Sinker Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), Makino, Deckel Maho Gildemeister (DMG), Laser and Swiss screw machines.

-Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

-Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills.

-Understanding machine alarm codes and utilization machine diagnostics for troubleshooting.

-Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.

-Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

Pluses:

-Completed technical or vocational school and obtained a certificate.

-Knowledge and experience with test equipment and meters, such as Digital Multimeters (DMM’s), Amp Probes, Meggers, and Oscilloscope.

-Skilled in troubleshooting Nitrogen and Oxygen generators and compressors.

-Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing of Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), Laser, and Swiss screw equipment.

-Knowledge in Fanuc, Okuma, and Siemens controls.

-Reliable team member with the willingness and the drive to succeed within the team.

-Motivated, self-starter, and a proactive team player.
