PRODUCTION LINE/PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR/LABEL MACHINE OPERATOR/WAREHOUSE WORKER JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description: The Production Line/Production Machine Operator/Label Machine Operator/Warehouse Worker is a key position within our manufacturing place and supports operations in production and sanitation duties. We strive to have the highest safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This position is exposed to both refrigerated and non-refrigerated areas throughout our facility.
Sorting, loading, cutting, and pressing produce
Utilize chemicals to clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact surfaces
Utilize pressurized water to clean floors
Follow all GMP procedures
Responsible for documentation of job tasks performed
Requires frequent bending, stooping, pushing, walking, and lifting
Set up production equipment as needed
Responsible for dumping trash
PPE required to be worn as detailed in GMP procedures
Qualifications:
Willingness and ability to work in wet, ambient to cold environments required
Previous experience working independently preferred
Previous manufacturing / food production experience preferred
Previous sanitation experience preferred
Previous GMP food experience required
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, as this is not a sit-down position required
Must be able to work long hours and work overtime if needed required
Knowledgeable on OSHA laws preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Must be 18 years or older required
Should have reliable transportation required
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs frequently required

Safety and Security: Ability to maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards, and personal protective equipment and safety devices. Ability to perform safe operation of all machinery, tools and equipment, and observe security procedures
Physical Demands:
Required to lift 50 - 75lbs frequently
Constant physical demands, including reaching, carrying, stooping, squatting, standing, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, stretching, seeing, twisting, bending, walking, and moving about the facility
Work Environment:
Will be exposed to shop elements, such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils
Will be working regularly near moving equipment
Employee is expected to be available to work in all areas of production including walk-in refrigerator
Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machinery
Personal Protective Equipment:
Utilization of safety equipment such as glasses, helmets, goggles, clothing, and other materials and equipment that may be necessary to the production and packaging of the factory operation
Some areas of performance of this position normally require exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions, the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shield and mandatory hearing protection is required
