Moet Law Group, APC is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice in our Irvine office. We are seeking an Attorney with 4+ years of experience including trials. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. The ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position.
The Litigation Attorney will handle a variety of Personal Injury cases at all stages of litigation, including trial prep, depositions leading to trial, complicated settlements, and in-court jury and bench trials, representing plaintiff clients in Irvine, Orange County, CA, and the areas surrounding O.C.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in cases involving products liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury matters
Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda of law
Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs
Handling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trial
Propounding and responding to discovery
Medical record review/summaries
Conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts,
Attend court hearings
Drafting complaints ranging from basic motor vehicle accidents to complex premises and assault cases.
Trial Preparation, including Motions, Special Verdict Forms, Jury Instructions, and any other related tasks to support the firm in preparation for Trial.
Taking and defending depositions (including those of Plaintiff and experts, witnesses, etc.)
Law and Motion – Research and drafting of Motions and Oppositions to various motion types, including but not limited to Motions for Summary Judgment and Demurrers, as well as Discovery-related Motions.
Drafting complaints ranging from basic motor vehicle accidents to complex premises and assault cases.
Qualifications
CA State Bar License (Required)
Litigation: 4+ years (Required)
An active member in good standing with the California Bar Association
Ability to manage high volume of litigation cases and take them to trial
Previous experience supervising team of paralegals
Excellent client service and communication skills
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
Spanish Speaker is a plus

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
