Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to join our team and provide valuable support to our attorneys in handling Worker's Compensation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service skills and a good understanding of California Worker's Compensation. The Candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You must be knowledgeable with EAMS; DOR process; Filing Applications; Amending Applications; Doctor Election; Preparing files for hearings.
You must have great customer service skills and be bilingual in Spanish.
The responsibilities for this position include assisting attorneys with case preparation, drafting legal documents, managing and organizing case files, obtaining medical treatment, and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
