Our Law Firm is seeking a friendly and organized Entry Level Law Firm Administrative Assistant to manage our front desk.
In this role you will answer and redirect phone calls, take accurate messages for attorneys and other staff, manage, sort and distribute mail, open new files, organize client files, and assist attorneys and administrative staff with other legal duties. Legal experience is a plus but not required. Position will allow you to train in the legal field and gain experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and email
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
Organize files
Manage office supplies
Open New Files
Accept New Referrals in a client based program
Assemble Trial, Mediation and Hearing Binders
Assist with mailings and overnight packages
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of administrative support experience
Legal experience is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
This is a fulltime, in office position.
