Experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal - Huntington Beach
We are a general civil litigation law firm, located in Huntington Beach, CA . We are seeking a part-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. The individual in this position must be knowledgeable in the following areas:
Formatting and finalizing discovery and discovery responses
Formatting and finalizing pleadings and correspondence
Assisting with trial preparation including but not limited to jury instructions, trial binders, exhibits and trial presentation
Coordinating depositions and documents for depositions as needed
Calendaring court appearances and deadlines
Internet-based research and Lexis-Nexis research
Programs:
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Lexis-Nexis; DropBox; WeTransfer; Adobe Pro
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and clerical skills
At least 5 years of law office experience
Good computer skills
Organizational skills and ability to multitask
Adaptable/fast learner
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
