Job Title: Skilled Furniture Movers for Retail Furniture Store
Location:Costa Mesa/ OC
Job Type: Immediate needs: freelance/ hourly, starting April 2025- 30 hours weekly when shop opens.

We are looking for reliable, skilled, and motivated furniture movers to join our team and help deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Position Summary: We are seeking experienced Furniture Movers who are able to handle, transport, and deliver furniture with care and precision. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving furniture from our warehouse to customers' homes, throughout our store, with some pick ups in Los Angeles while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load, unload, and transport furniture from the warehouse to customer homes or other destinations.
Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage during the move.
Assist in the assembly and placement of furniture when necessary.
Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles.
Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on furniture when necessary.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a furniture mover, delivery driver, or in a similar role.
Ability to lift heavy furniture and navigate tight spaces.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with furniture assembly.
Familiarity with moving equipment such as dollies, straps, and hand trucks.
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly pay:
Entry-Level Movers: $15–$18 per hour
Experienced Movers: $18–$25 per hour
Highly Skilled or Specialized Movers: $25–$30+ per hour
