Quality Control Inspector / Warehouse Associate - $24.00/hour

We are accepting a self-motivated team player for our full-time Quality Control Inspector / Warehouse Associate. We are seeking a careful, well rounded employee that can operate in a warehouse setting, is able to provide quality control for orders, and ensure our product leaves our warehouse in the best condition possible for our customers.

Starting Pay: $24.00 per hour

Requirements

Our ideal qualified candidate will have the following:

● Inspecting material and palletized loads, ensuring correct material was pulled, order is properly cataloged in the computer system and

load is properly secured to the pallet for transportation.

● Print job orders from the computer and assign them to the order pullers in order of priority.

● Ensure orders are accurately completed in a timely manner in the computer system.

● Accurate shift communication with Customer Service, Forklift Operators and Management.

● Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and generating a daily End of Shift report for management.

● Training the order pullers on quality control measures to improve product excellence.

● Proposing improvements to the production process to management.

● Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of cargo to and from the loading dock.

● Ensure equipment is operating accurately such as pallet turntables, loading docks and weigh scales.

● Take weekly inventory of supplies and provide to management for approval and purchase.

● Determining the causes of product defects and reworks in efforts to minimize product waste and downtime.

● Willing to do various warehouse duties as needed by management

Skills and Qualifications

● Good written and verbal communication skills

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

● Basic computer and math skills

● In-depth understanding of company standards

● Documentation and reporting skills

● Promote and demonstrate Teamwork and collaboration

● Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, bending throughout shift

● Ability to multitask within a fast paced environment with accuracy

● Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting company standards

● Occasionally lift 80 pounds throughout the shift

Experience:

● Quality Control/Auditing: 1 year (Required)

● Warehouse Experience: 1 year (Required)

● Inventory Experience: 1 year (Required)

● Forklift Experience: 1 year (Required)
