Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our roofing service operations on the West Coast. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of projects, managing team performance, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations management within the construction or service industry, with a strong understanding of roofing services. Some Ttravel Required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations of the roofing service division, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers, field staff, and support personnel. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Project Oversight: Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Financial Management: Monitor and control budgetary aspects of projects, including cost estimation, procurement, and expense tracking. Analyze financial reports to ensure profitability.
- Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in operations management, preferably within the roofing or construction industry.
- Education: Construction Management Knowledge, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in roofing operations are a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of roofing systems, materials, and industry best practices. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
