Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Moving Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in moving services, excellent leadership skills, and a clean driving and criminal record. As a Moving Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing moving crews, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of household or commercial goods, and maintaining high customer service standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of movers to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking of goods.
Ensure safety protocols and company procedures are followed at all times.
Conduct pre-move assessments and communicate with customers regarding their moving needs.
Drive moving trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws.
Maintain inventory of moving equipment and supplies.
Train and mentor new crew members as needed.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
Ensure timely completion of all moving jobs.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in moving or relocation services.
Must have professional appearance and great attitude.
Must be able to pass drug test.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Bilingual is a PLUS but must at least speak basic English
Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
Background: Must pass a background check with no criminal record.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy furniture and equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
