Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Racker Packer Masker for a reputable provider of metal parts painting and coating services that paints and coats metal parts for various clients in Santa Ana, CA.
Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Flexibility to do over time and work Saturday's.
Requirements of a Racker Packer Masker:
1 year previous experience in metal masking is a must.
Basic understanding of painting and coating processes is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
Prior experience in masking is a must!
Previous experience in roles such as metal coating, surface finishing, metal masking, protective coating, and or masking is a huge plus!

Responsibilities of a Racker Packer Masker:
Accurately apply masking materials such as tape, plugs, and caps to specified areas of metal parts to protect them from coatings or treatments.
Clean and prepare metal surfaces prior to masking to ensure proper adhesion of masking materials and subsequent coating applications.
Inspect masked parts for any imperfections or areas that require rework, ensuring that masking is done correctly to prevent any coating from seeping into protected areas.
Coordinate with other team members, such as painters or coating specialists, to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication regarding masking requirements and specifications.
Maintain an inventory of masking materials and equipment, ensuring that an adequate supply is always available.
Additionally, perform routine maintenance on masking tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
