Laguna Painting has been in business for over 10 years, specializing in paint and high performance coatings in the industrial, commercial markets. We are currently seeking the right individuals to join our family. As an Estimator/Project Manager trainee your responsibilities will include the following:
(1) Develop and manage existing and new accounts. Project Manager - Estimators will assume existing business and will be expected to build new relationships with targeted accounts.
(2) Review architectural plans and specifications. Prepare comprehensive estimates, schedules of work and proposals.
(3) Utilization of estimation software, existing database and Microsoft programs.
(4) Responsible for projects from start to finish means Project Manager - Estimators will estimate a project, keep track of it until it is awarded, schedule work flow, work with existing team (Foremen, Equipment Manager, Warehouse Manager, etc) to prepare for the project start, and manage the project until it is completed. Project Manager - Estimators are not alone in the process as there is a large support team, however it is their ultimate responsibility to assure project success.
(5) Must have an understating of the painting and wallcovering process including brushing, spray painting, roller, hanging different types of wall coverings, working with different painting products, assist field team on job sites, prep work and clean up.
