Job Summary:
1) Deliver, pick-up, and relocation of all company’s product lines offered by the region including sanitation units, storage containers, fence materials and/or power equipment.
2) This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
3) Requires overnight travel of up to 15% may be required.
Essential Functions:
1) Safely deliver, pick-up and relocate products and materials as assigned by supervisor
2) Load and unload products and materials as needed following proper load securement requirements.
3) Perform required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
4) Notify supervisor of any maintenance/safety issues in a timely manner.
5) Operate company vehicle in a safe manner including following all DOT regulations and local traffic ordinances.
6) Maintain driver logs as required under DOT regulations.
7) Maintain vehicle in good, clean operating condition.
8) Report accidents, citations or incidents to supervisor immediately.
9) Submit required reports/dispatch paperwork in a timely manner.
10) Follow all safety rules, attend mandatory safety meetings and wear personal protective equipment as required.
11) Interact with customers in a positive and professional manner to provide world-class customer service.
12) Perform other duties and/or tasks as instructed or assigned.
Qualifications:
1) Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or General Education Development certificate (GED). One year of related work experience or equivalent training.
2) Skills and Abilities: Requires ability to drive company vehicle in a safe manner. Requires ability to safely load and unload products and materials. Requires regular contact with customers as well as interaction with supervisors and coworkers. Requires ability to verbally communicate with customers. Requires working from detailed instructions. Requires occasional decision-making. Assignments are primarily task oriented and include detailed instructions for performing them. Ability to read and follow general documents such as DVIR, log books and manifests. Ability to perform basic math calculations, apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
3)Licenses/Certificates/Registrations: Must have a valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines. Because this position is required to drive a company vehicle, drivers must be at least 21 years old. DOT medical card is required to be able to drive a company vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more. Forklift certification will be provided after hire.

Duties require frequent lifting up to 25 pounds with occasional lifting between 50 and 100 pounds.
2) The work environment includes exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and inclement weather. Work involves exposure to loud machines, moving vehicles, inclement weather, and mechanical noise.
