We are a food manufacturing facility based in Garden Grove, CA, currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing products at various stages of production to ensure all quality standards and customer specifications are met.
Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our products. This position involves performing inspections, documenting results, and working closely with the production team to uphold quality standards. A strong understanding of inspection tools, documentation practices, and basic testing procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Inspect and test products at various stages of the production process.
Interpret specifications, diagrams, and instructions to ensure accuracy.
Record inspection data using statistical quality control methods.
Approve or reject products based on test results and specifications.
Conduct organoleptic, sanitation, and environmental surface testing.
Maintain sampling and retention programs.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and reports.
Recommend improvements to quality and production standards.
Support development and revisions of SOPs and quality documentation.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Must be able to read and write in English and Spanish.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages, fractions).
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, specifications, and technical data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Comfortable using inspection tools such as weight scales.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift (up to 40 lbs), and meet physical job demands.
Experience in a quality control or food manufacturing environment preferred.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:20 p.m. – 10: 50 p.m. or 10: 50 p.m. to 6: 00 a.m.
