Looking for help for my 30 years old autistic son whom lives at home.
Must have experience taking care of Autistic adults with self injurious behavior. Must be able to follow precise directions.
Have to be enthusiastic, detail oriented ,committed and motivated to work with developmentally disabled persons.
Need full time or part time, different 8 hours shifts are available ,8.00am -4.00pm shift, 4.00pm-12.00 midnight shift
12.00am-8.00am shift,weekdays and weekends.-
You will be assisting with bathing and hygiene routine, daily outings, and
follow a set schedule for daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Follow daily schedule and specific protocols for daily activities.
- Drive to community outings (walks, hikes, movies, etc.), workout classes and
therapy sessions.
- Collect data and write notes on behaviors and daily shifts.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Work on communication and de-escalation procedures.
- Assist with activities of daily living (showers, brushing teeth, dressing, etc.)
Requirements:
- Must have weekend availability.
- Must be able to perform physical work for at least 8 hours.
- Reliable transportation and drivers license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping individuals with special needs.
- Hight School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- RBT (Preferred)

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
