Well established private optometry office is looking for an energetic, friendly, and personable front office assistant. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has a positive attitude, and offers exceptional customer service. We provide a personal and custom experience for each patient, and focus on quality vs quantity.
Must be confident, motivated, have excellent communication skills, and proper telephone etiquette. A qualified applicant must be reliable and have great organization and multi-tasking skills.
Experience is a plus, but willing to train a willing candidate. New grads or pre-medical students are welcome.
Position is for Full-Time: Monday – Thursday and Saturday. Part time available if available Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Job Description:
Primary job will consists of greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, data-entry, verifying insurance benefits, operating pre-test equipment.
Job advancement available. As you become more comfortable we can progress and cross-train to assisting patients in eyewear selection and contact lens purchases, submitting insurance claims, invoicing, inventory, repairs and adjustments, and medical chart scribing.
